This is one of my all time favourite engines, its an early 1970’s Auld Traction Engine, made by David A Auld of Graymouth New Zealand
This is one tough and well built little engine, perfect for these hardy climates. The drive mechanism is similar to other New Zealand Mobiles wherein it drives both of the back wheels with small rubber drive wheels held on the main back wheels with springs.
