Mamod SR1 Steam Roller
Near the end of the 1950s Eric Malins discovered a Mastrand Roller in a Gamages catalogue of the time, this was to later be the inspiration for Mamod's first mobile Steam Toy - the SR1 Steam Roller
I am slowly building up my range of Mamod SR1 Steam Rollers, at the moment I only have two in my Toy Steam collection, and I am always on the look out for more.
However I have managed to get a very good model of the first ever 1961 SR1 that Malins Models ever produced.
