Stationary Toy Steam

Model stationary steam engines enjoyed a popularity starting in the 1880's, and extended into the 1960's. These models were not just a child's toy, but more of an expensive, ornate, and complex to operate educational tool. In the post WW2 era, steam had been supplanted by the internal combustion engine, while motion pictures and television replaced models as a primary teaching and reference tool - and the age of steam was no more.

I have collected what I think are a few prime examples of British Toy Stationary Steam at it best.
