The World Of Toy Steam
This site is for everyone who has ever owned a toy steam engine, for today there is a tremendous nostalgia for the days of steam. As full-size engines dwindle in numbers the Mamod, Bowman, Bing, Marklin and Wilesco range of steam toys are still recapturing that wonderful period. Toy Steam has been around since Victorian times and it seemed up until the sixties every boys ambition was to own one. These engines invariably ended up forgotten in some loft or shed, but the ones that survived have now become very collectable.
